When you add a document in My school → Legal data, you choose its type. The type helps keep the document list in order: it is shown under the title of each document. Where students see the document depends not on the type, but on the Show at registration switch and the agreement level.

Available types

The Document type field has six options. They go in the same order as in the form. For a new document, Public offer is selected by default.

What the type affects

How to set up where a document is shown — see Legal documents.
Name documents the way students should see them: “Offer agreement”, “Personal data processing policy”. The links on the website show the title, not the type.

Frequently asked questions

The type doesn’t define where the document is shown. Turn on Show at registration and choose the Agreement level. With the Don’t require checking the box level, the offer appears as a link on the payment page.
Yes. Open the document, choose another type and click Save. Nothing changes on the website except the caption in the document list.
Choose Your document and give it a clear title. The Your document type works the same way as the others.
Yes, there are no limits on repeated types. Keep in mind that documents apply to the whole school, not to a specific course: both documents will be visible in the footer, and with display turned on — on the login and payment pages too.
The platform doesn’t require a single mandatory document. You and your lawyer decide which documents your school needs.
This type is used only on the Exode marketplace and isn’t offered in the school document form.
